A practical workshop designed to introduce children to the fundamental sub-skills of drawing.
Rather than focusing on copying pictures, children learn how to draw by developing the underlying skills that artists, architects, and designers use every day. Through engaging, step-by-step activities, participants strengthen observation, hand-eye coordination, visual analysis, proportion, line control, and spatial understanding while building confidence in their own creative abilities.
Suitable for children aged 7–14.
This workshop will span over two days — Monday 28 September 2026, starting at 9am and finishing at 12:00pm with a short recess break in between. It will then commence again on Tuesday 29 September 2026, starting at 9am and finishing at 12:00pm with a short recess break in between.
Children are encouraged to bring a light snack to consume during the short recess break.
